A native of Stillwater, Jay graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, in 2008 with a degree in Economics. He later earned his Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) certification in 2015.
Since joining EFS Advisors in 2011, Jay has spent nearly 15 years serving clients in the Stillwater office and supporting local communities and school districts. As a financial advisor, he works with individuals and families to develop comprehensive investment strategies designed to help them achieve both short- and long-term financial goals. With extensive knowledge of TRA and pension planning, Social Security, and retirement income strategies, Jay is able to provide customized guidance based on each client’s unique needs and objectives.
Jay continues to live in Stillwater with his family. Outside of work, he spends most of his time coaching youth sports and chauffeuring his kids to their many activities.
